Our team participated in a nonprofit activity day at Spokane Community College, connecting with students, parents, and faculty. As one of twelve organizations represented, we had the opportunity to share resources, answer questions, and listen to community priorities. Face-to-face conversations matter. In collaboration with LPYG in Uganda, our club is delivering rapid-impact trainings that help refugee women gain income and agency. Recent modules include cutting and sewing, hairdressing, banana cultivation, and small-livestock rearing—practical skills that translate quickly into household income. The program also integrates sexual and menstrual health education to safeguard well-being and prevent avoidable health risks.
