In collaboration with LPYG in Uganda, our club is delivering
rapid-impact trainings that help refugee women gain income and agency. Recent
modules include cutting and sewing, hairdressing, banana cultivation, and
small-livestock rearing—practical skills that translate quickly into household
income.
The program also integrates sexual and menstrual health education to safeguard
well-being and prevent avoidable health risks. Participants consistently report
increased confidence, stronger peer networks, and a clearer path toward
financial independence.
This model is designed to scale. By combining short, targeted trainings with
community mentorship, we can expand to more settlements and multiply results
for women and their families.
